Commanding

Janet Jackson kicked off her new Rock With U tour in Vancouver on Wednesday to amazing reviews!

“It is a reminder that she is a trend-setter in her own right, a true diva, and a marvelous performer,” says the critic for the Vancouver Sun.

The show lasted a whopping 2.5 hours, featured around 10 dancers and just as many costume changes for Miz Jackson.

OMMFG. It was the best Janet concert I have ever seen. Rockwitchu. No shit, no lie. I was tired just watching. The dancers are amazing professionals who would just go somewhere else and trudge through the most grueling set after set of choreography. The set was an intricate part of the overall show. It jutted out into a square with fans in the middle. It most reminded me of something i've seen on many awards shows. Our seats were amazing, but then, the way the Oracle is set up, many seats are "the best seats". She was at eye level and about 20-25 feet away for $135 dollahs... fuck you Madonna. Fuck you Maria. Two bitches that stole HUGE sums of money from their fans with their last tour's costs.

Back to Janet--> Her mohawk worked for the whole concert. I loved it in the evening gown [yes, janet in an evenign gown. A treat I never would have expected.] I loved it in the Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome look. The costumes where focused less on the elaborate and more on the intricate, a point which the whole group: Chad, David, Humberto and I, agreed.

Janet sang alot! I was shocked. She didn't seem to get caught up in trying too hard and sounded relaxed and thus, beautiful. She did all kinds of songs that I have not heard her sing ever. There was even one old old song that I don't think i've ever heard. SHE SANG "YOUNG LOVE" FOR GOD'S SAKE. I almost fucking fell out. She sang part of "let's wait a while". I thought my head would explode when she did "Discipline". I almost came. I saw what keeps Jermaine sprung. I saw Janet simulate bouncing on a dick. I loved every minute of it. She is so beautiful and sexy. It's been a while and she's taking the stage back.

She was thick as hell too. That was very interesting [I loved it!]. With that set list, she will shred it off whether she wants to or not! Janet is known for having body image issues [Like me, you, and errybody else]. She never really likes to wear pants that hug. She was wearing thick tights and costume pants that would make JLo wanna GO, GO...home. Damn, Dunk! You go on, Miss Jackson. It was the most comfortable, connected, excited, happy, dramatic, interactive[!!!], sexy, aggressive, concert she's ever done. The staging was Broadway worthy, or at least good enough for a lucrative and successful stint in Vegas. The dancers were sweating puddles and she was commanding the arena with hit after hit after hit.

I'm already thinking about buying tickets to another concert: Houston!!! That way i'll get to see Rodney, Nick, and Miss Ron. It would definitely be worth it to see her again.
